Clinical compliance
Naturally, the protection of staff and patients is the first priority so we guarantee that any radiation protection product we supply will meet clinical compliance standards for its intended use.
We are also familiar with Ionising Radiations regulations 1999 (IRR99) that cover radiation protection, and IRR99 and the Environmental Permitting regulations 2010 (EPR2010) that apply when using radiopharmaceuticals. Moreover, we work in close collaboration with Radiation Protection Advisors. We can provide access to suitably qualified RPAs whom you will find invaluable for their knowledge and advice on protection measures, compliance regulations and safety procedures for any clinical environment where a radiation hazard exists.
Assured safety and quality
We work with the requirements laid out in the HBN6 document “Facilities for Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology” produced by the National Health Service Estates office. In addition, all the lead sheet used in our boards is custom manufactured by ourselves and our machine cast lead (approved by the British Board of Agrément) carries CE mark BS EN 14783 confirming its suitability for use as an internal lining material.
Our quality management process is also ISO 9001 accredited.
