An independent builders merchant and DIY store, Rhino Building & DIY Supplies LTD has been serving both trade and retail customers throughout East Anglia since 2012.
“We’re a local company, supplying local needs,” says operations manager Zoe Gabriele.
Stocking Midland Lead’s machine cast lead in 15 different sizes, Zoe says the firm initially chose Midland Lead over other lead sheet manufacturers due to a combination of “high quality products and competitive pricing”.
“Midland Lead are a reputable and well-recognised brand that people trust. We’re not into cheap alternatives,” she explains.
However, having now worked with Midland Lead for nearly three years, Zoe says the thing she values most about the relationship is customer service. “Good customer service is more important to us than price – which, being independent, is the way we are at Rhino. We focus on looking after our customers by responding quickly to enquiries, turning around orders fast and efficiently with minimal fuss, offering the best advice, and not hesitating to go that extra mile to deliver excellent results; all traits we appreciate seeing in our suppliers.
“Midland Lead mirrors a lot of Rhino’s qualities. They offer speedy delivery, a regular supply of a good quality product, fast resolution of any issues, and are very helpful indeed. They are everything in a supplier that we look for!” she says.
Zoe goes on to recall how Midland Lead recently demonstrated going that extra mile. “They supported the company with one of our trade days in October this year. We run trade events throughout the year, but this was the first evening one. We held it on a Friday night and weren’t sure if many would come, but it was the most successful yet. It was really well supported by our suppliers, with Midland Lead kindly donating a £50 red-letter day voucher for a raffle – the proceeds of which went to a local cancer charity.”
