2015 was another successful year for family-owned business Birkenhead Building & Roofing Supplies Ltd, with a recent expansion to a fourth property and two more delivery vehicles added to their fleet. We caught up with Steve Pilgrim, to discover more about this fantastic family business in Merseyside and why they choose Midland Lead.

What are your 2016 plans? To continue to grow stronger and develop those existing relationships further.

Steve told us “Birkenhead Building & Roofing Supplies Ltd started out as a roofers merchant however as the needs of the customers have developed we have had to diversify and are now a full builders merchant.

Our best-selling product is still lead and we’ve been a customer of Midland Lead since day 1 (35 years ago). We have a really strong relationship with them and 15/20 years ago when we went through a tough period, Midland Lead stood by us and helped us through – which we really appreciated.

We love dealing with the team at Midland Lead as they are friendly and always there to help. They’re a big company but small enough to still care about us.”
