The Dentistry Show 2015
Last Friday and Saturday Midland Lead visited the Dentistry Show at the NEC Birmingham. It was a well-attended event and we successfully promoted our new healthcare product range, some of these products included were:
- Lead Aprons
- Lead-lined boards
- Lead glasses
- Lead glass
We also had full attendance at our CPD which received very good feedback. Thanks again to Michael O’Mahoney for his CPD on Radiation Protection for dental diagnostic radiography. The CPD was informing dentistry professionals on how best to layout x-ray equipment, he also explained the pros and cons of using different radiation shielding materials. The CPD had over 200 delegates.
Thank you to everyone that visited our stand, we had a mixture of dental practice managers and owners as well as some Radiation Protection Advisor’s and Installation Partners. There was a clear interest in our new products and all together it was a successful day. It was very nice to meet you all in person.
Most importantly is that we raised over £150 for Bridge2Aid a charity that specialises in providing dentistry support to countries that cannot afford it or do not have the resources needed. In March 2014, we supplied lead-lined gypsum boards and fillet strips for use as radiation protection. The 2.4m x 600mm x 12.5mm boards were sent to and x-ray facility in Tanzania in East Africa.
