George Hill Timber and Building Supplies Ltd is a family-run business, established in November 1919 in Oldham. The business was set up by George Hill who had been inspired by the world of timber after spending time in America before WW1.

The business survived both World Wars as well as the depression of the 1930s and today has flourished with four branches in the North West and an impressive catalogue of building supplies alongside timber. As well as the head office in Oldham, George Hill Ltd has branches in Bolton, Sale and Nelson.
