Kyle Recognised as High Achiever
Kyle Hazeldine has been named as one of just three finalists in the prestigious BMF Young Supplier Achiever Award and we are so proud of his achievements.
The judges recognised Kyle as a talented and professional individual who excels in his role as Sales and Marketing Manager here at Midland Lead. With a real enthusiasm for customer service and all-round knowledge of the industry and product application, Kyle has progressed since he first stared in 2015 as a customer service administrator. Kyle has worked in most areas of the business from operations through to key account manager and as a valued member of the team, he has always demonstrated a strong commitment to the company’s core values of quality, service, and sustainability.
With great enthusiasm he inspires others in the team and is genuinely respected throughout the company, colleague Thomas Lord, Regional Sales Manager said; “I have worked with Kyle for the past 4 years and he has been a brilliant mentor and friend. His work ethic and industry knowledge are outstanding. He is always wanting to learn and progress and will do anything he can to help the team and the company. He is an asset to us all and brings so much to us and Midland Lead.”

Kyle already has several accolades under his belt including a BMF Postgraduate Distinction in Multi-Unit Business, Leadership, and Strategy from Birmingham City University. He was also named Young Employee of the Year at the Burton Mail Business Awards in 2018 and was shortlisted for the BMF Young Supplier Achiever of the Year 2021 award.
Kyle leads his team from the front, motivating and inspiring them to build a strong cohesive approach to supporting the business and customers. At just 27 years old, he is a genuine role model to many and an ambassador for Midland Lead in his many dealings with customers, stakeholders, prospective partners and suppliers.
He has conscientiously managed changes in his immediate staffing team with diligence and care, welcoming new team members and ensuring their introduction to Midland Lead are thorough yet flexible, to accommodate their individual needs.
But this never stops him from learning, listening and always working within Midlands Lead core values that are ‘be curious, work together, look out for each other, make it happen, tell it how it is and be part of our future.’
Equally respected by customers and contacts outside of the business he has developed relationships over the years that have often gone over and above his role to ensure that every customer always get the best service and care at every step of the way. Bart Murphy, National Director, HSS tool hire said; “I worked closely with Kyle for a number of years now and watched him develop and flourish in the industry, he pushes himself personally and professionally.
“Kyle is a perfect example about how fantastic the industry that we work in is and is an industry ambassador and role model for new talent within our industry who aspire to be like him and forge a successful career in our sector in the same way that he has. Our industry would greatly benefit from more outstanding individuals such as Kyle.”
The winners will be announced at the BMF Annual Conference and Awards Dinner on 15 September 2022 and Kyle added; “Being shortlisted for this award is a great honour and I am flattered to be up against two other worthy finalists. Midland Lead has always been a supportive company to work for and that is what has helped me achieve the fortunate position that I am in now. Thank you.”
