Getting to know Richard Gee – Sales office supervisor

Since he started 5 months ago, it’s highly likely you have spoken to Richard Gee, our Sales Office Supervisor on the telephone. Responsible for looking after the Sales Office, managing customer service and making sure customers are receiving their orders from us.

Having spent his whole career working in sales, his role at Midland Lead is the first time he’s worked for a manufacturer and he loves it.

We’ve asked him a few questions so you can get to know him better.

If you could switch your job with anyone else within the Midland Lead team, whose job would you want? It has to be Catherine Dolman’s as she looks after exporting – this would be really interesting

Best thing about about working at Midland Lead? The team, we’re like a dysfunctional family that works so well together.

What do you see as the most exciting opportunities for the lead industry and Midland Lead over the next 3 years? There are a lot of exciting growth opportunities based on the changes to service and products we are introducing. It’s a great time to be here.

Favourite movie? Pulp Fiction.

Never seen without… My mobile, its glued to my hand.

Holiday heaven… Gran Canaria, you can just guarantee great weather.

First album…  The Smiths – Strange ways here we come, I still have the vinyl somewhere.

Lunch on the run, what would you quickly choose? Ideally scrambled egg on toast.

Couldn’t live without? My son, he’s 10 years old.
