Recently Midland Lead has developed a Quick Guide to working with our Premium Cast Lead. A high-quality lead sheet, made to BBA approval (BBA 86/1764), ideal to use for flashings and weatherproofing.

In our Quick Guide you can find some useful storage, finishing and fixing tips for lead, alongside a table that indicates which code of lead should be used in relation to its application. For example, for soakers our code 3 lead (1.32mm) will suffice, while code 5 to code 8 (3.55mm) is best used for dormers.
