Dental centre in Tanzania completed with support of Midland Lead
After working incredibly hard for 3 months, Hope 2, a new dental centre in Mwanza (Tanzania) has now been completed. The dental team onsite has proudly started seeing patients in the new building. Patients that come from far and away and have been suffering with toothache and pains for months and sometimes even years…
The build of Hope 2 in Tanzania has been a joint effort by Bridge2Aid, dental surgery Chipping Manor and dental equipment supplier A-Dec. Bridge2Aid’s CEO – Mark Topley explains what a difference our support has made: “It really will enable us to train more clinical officers, to ensure that more people who are living in daily pain will get access to dental treatment they so desperately need.”
Midland Lead is very proud to have been part of this special project. We have supported the build of this much-needed dental centre, by supplying lead-lined boards for the dental x-ray room. Interested in the products and service we offer the healthcare sector? Go to our website and browse our healthcare or lead-lined boards pages.
Bridge2aid and Chipping Manor are continuing to improve the dental care in developing countries such as Tanzania. At the moment, director Ian Stephens from Chipping Manor is still fundraising for Hope 2 and has created a dedicated fundraising page. So if you’d feel you would like to support this incredible project yourself, just donate online. Thanks very much in advance!
