The Master Roofers Training Academy, proudly supported by Midland Lead

 As part of this new agreement, Master Roofers UK opened a new training facility in Runcorn in February 2026, which offers a variety of courses such as lead welding and bossing, slating and tiling and lead fabricating. The centre includes a 5000 square foot training area and another 1500 square foot of offices and classrooms. The academy will host around 300 trainees per year, with classes being kept deliberately small to ensure student engagement. Trainees will come from all over the UK and even further afield, with students from Belgium and Australia already registered this year.

The Master Roofers Training Academy represents a significant step forward in trade-led training. By combining Master Roofers UK’s reach and credibility with Midland Lead’s technical expertise and materials, the academy will provide practical, real-world training to preserve traditional roofing skills that remain essential to the trade.
