Business continuity considerations regarding Coronavirus (Covid-19)

The coronavirus situation globally and in the UK changes day by day. At Midland Lead we think ahead and consider business continuity plans to try and eliminate or keep disruption to a minimum. We have taken extra precautions in line with Government recommendations. In addition, we have taken measurements to make sure we will continue to provide uninterrupted service to the various sectors we supply.

Managing director, Boudewijn Tuinenburg said: “The vast majority of our raw materials are sourced and recycled within the UK and we maintain sufficient stock levels to be able to supply customers in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

“The welfare of our staff and visitors to site is paramount and we have fully taken on board the recommendations outlined by the NHS. Toolbox talks on the importance of cleanliness, the use of anti-bacterial gel and the essential need to regularly hand wash will be undertaken by our Health and Safety Coordinator with all members of staff. We will continue to monitor government guidelines and act accordingly.”
