At Midland Lead, we're proud to support organisations that make a real difference, and Aquabox is one of those charities that quietly changes lives every single day.
Based right here in Derbyshire, Aquabox provides emergency water filters to communities affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises around the world. Following the recent earthquake in Venezuela, they're preparing to send water filters to support thousands of people who have lost access to clean, safe drinking water as recovery efforts continue.
What makes this story even more special for us is knowing that some of the filters we've helped fund will be part of that effort, helping families access something so many of us take for granted: safe drinking water.
Aquabox does not just make a difference overseas either. As active members of the East Midlands Manufacturing Network, they're always willing to share their experience and best practice around lean manufacturing, helping fellow manufacturers improve and grow.
They're a fantastic example of how a local organisation can have a truly global impact, and we're incredibly proud to support the work they do.
