Sixth successful ISO audit for Midland Lead!

Midland Lead are proud to announce that we have had yet another audit success following a visit this week by the BSI to assess our ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. We are particularly proud that the auditor stated in his report…

“The level of commitment to continual improvement, compliance, environmental performance, process efficiencies and effectiveness, provision of resources, and the prevention of pollution is particularly demonstrable.”

This was the sixth and final ISO audit of 2015 performed by the BSI; during the year we have had considerable success and achievement with successful continual assessments for ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001 (Health & Safety Management) together with achieving accreditation to ISO 9001 (Quality Management) in April this year.

Next year our focus will be on further improvements to our processes and management systems to incorporate the changes which have been brought about by the new ISO 9001 and 14001 2015 versions of the standards which were released earlier this month together with the new standard, ISO 45001 which will be replacing OHSAS 18001 later next year.
