We at Midland Lead pride ourselves on our ‘green performance’. The site is IPPC licensed and has to meet stringent environmental standards.
Lead is the most recyclable of the non-noble metals and through our in-house refining we bring back to useful specification lead which may already have been used several times over in water-pipes, cladding or on roofs. Furthermore, all our drosses from the refining process are sent for specialist reclamation to avoid all waste of a precious natural resource.
We are always pleased to hear from anyone with quantities of soft lead scrap for sale, although for obvious reasons we only buy in multi-ton quantities.
