Throughout the year Midland Lead organised several campaign activities to raise funds for the NSPCC in order to help them in their efforts to protect children at risk of abuse and neglect. We have tried to raise money at the building exhibitions we’ve attended in 2009, we‘ve asked our customers to send us their donations for the children’s charity and more excitingly we have organised our first-ever online charity auction.
The results of our 2009 charity campaign are great. We’ve been able to raise a total amount of £1805. And we couldn’t have done so without the help and support of our customers. So, a BIG Thank You to all of you who got involved, and especially to the Greenjackets Roofing Services – the highest bidder of our online auction!

We know, it’s money well-spent and it helps to make a real difference to children in distress at this time of the year.”
Early January 2010, Midland Lead staff will hand over a cheque of £1805 to the NSPCC.
Jenni Cowlishaw, corporate fundraising manager NSPCC adds: “The traditional Christmas period is perceived as a happy time of the year. Yet the sad fact is, that over the holiday period ChildLine and the NSPCC hear from many children in distress. Due to this, the need to raise money throughout the festive season is as vital as ever. So, we greatly appreciate the continuous support of Midland Lead and its customers and the fantastic amount they have raised to help us to be there for even more children who have nowhere else to turn to.”
